For those of you that know me, know that I was VERY busy last week taking pictures of two very special teams. The friendship games came to Burleson Texas last week and my sister-in-law and I of all people got to take the pictures for these two awesome teams. Team Japan flew in on Monday afternoon and the USA team along with all of the parents were at the airport to greet them.
After we returned to Chisenhall baseball fields in Burleson the Japan team and the USA team had a potluck dinner provide by different sponsors and parents. Finally that evening they had a hit, run, throw contest which was very interesting to say the least. Both teams were very competitive while they both showed strong points as well as weak points. These two teams I might say were awesome!!
The next day was a day filled with fun things for both teams to do while team Japan was visiting. First, we all took a tour of the Rangers Stadium. The Japan team as well as the USA team really enjoyed seeing stadium.
The next stop was the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and this was my first tour. I have to say this was one of the most awesome buildings I have EVER seen. It was a real pleasure getting to experience this with both teams as I followed behind taking pictures of their experiences.
These two teams played four games in four days and I think they were exausted by the time it was all said and done with. Here are some of the pictures I took while the two teams were playing their series of games.
Both teams had some outstanding pitching!!
Benji Gil and Mark McLemore were also the two coaches for the USA team. This was an honor for the kids to get a chance to be taught how to play baseball from two former ex Rangers baseball players.

It was an absolute honor to be allowed to take the pictures for these friendship games. I had so much fun but also learned so much. I only hope that in the years to come I will get the opportunity to be a part of the Friendship Games in Burleson Texas. What an honor.
